I’d like to thank everybody for the great feedback on What Looks Like Crazy, even those people I didn’t have to pay to say so many great things. I’m on book two of the series, Nutcase, and I’ll have to get back to you as to whether I think it’s gonna fly. This is what happens when one book is easier to write, as was the case of What Looks Like Crazy. Sooner or later you’re going to pay. There are days I feel like I’m pulling this new book right out of my butt, you know? But what’s a writer to do but push on so she can get paid and keep her house from going into foreclosure? My other option is greeting people at Walmart.
So, you guys keep your fingers crossed — the damn thing is due in a month! And here’s the pisser. I’ve already eaten all the chocolate I received for Valentine’s Day. This is no way to live.
Pray!
BOOK WAS TREMENDOUS CAN’T WAIT TO READ THE NEXT
I reviewed What Looks Like Crazy on my blog and have gotten very nice feedback! I can’t wait for your next one, sorry it’s giving you fits!
I finished this book a couple of days ago and I really enjoyed it. For the most part, I liked the characters and I thought the situation between Kate and Jay was very believable. I could see how two people could really love each other and still allow unresolved issues and pride get in the way of fixing things. That said, I don’t like Thad at all and the constant quirk factor of the rest of her family could get to be too much on an extended basis, but it wasn’t too over-the-top in this one. All in all, I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
Thanks, everybody for the great feedback. Charlotte
I just finished this book and I love it. I can’t wait for the next adventure of Kate Holly and her friends.
I just bought your latest book today. I liked it so much I was done reading it in 4 hours. I have read all of Janet’s books and I just wanted to let you know you too are on my list of fav. authors now. Ten toes up!! Oh and I loved Beaufort too. We were stationed there 8 years ago and it has never left our hearts.
Just to let you know that your hard efforts are appreciated. And the more difficult a book is to write, the more your fans are going to love it. Keep it up. We LOVE your work.
Thanks for writing! I appreciate the great feedback, and the E-mails I’ve received have really kept me going these past few weeks. Thank God for kind readers and Starbucks French Roast!
Big hug, Charlotte
